When you have finished you will be sent a 'completion code' by email, which will be valid for 6 months and required to submit your application form.

This post is based at Rosanne House, Welwyn Garden City within the Community Adult Mental Health Services of East and South East Hertfordshire.

The post holder will form part of a multi-disciplinary team consisting of clinical psychology, psychiatry, nursing, occupational therapy and social work. Candidates must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council as a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist and a Full Member of the Division of Clinical Psychology, Division of Forensic Psychology or the Division of Counselling Psychology, British Psychological Society, or eligible to join one of these divisions.

This offers an exciting opportunity to join an established group of therapists (including another 8b Psychologist and Consultant Psychologist Lead) to offer a quadrant wide therapy service within the community mental health services. The service works to meet the needs of service users with a range of complex mental health needs working within the local multi-disciplinary community teams. The post will be based as described, but the ability to work flexibly across the quadrant area will be essential. E&SE Hertfordshire has both rural and city areas, and the post holder would expect some travel within their working week.  Offering professional leadership to therapists in their area, and within the quadrant is key.  This post would suit someone who loves working in multidisciplinary teams, and has strong skills in clinical supervision and case management, as well as excellent clinical skills in working with individuals experiencing severe and/or enduring mental health problems.  Experience of triaging and managing referrals is important as is an understanding of the importance of KPIs and other quality indicators in measuring the effectiveness and efficiency of what we do.
