Consultant Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist – substantive full time (11PA) post – CAMHS clinic – Hoddesdon Health Centre & CMHT Bishops Stortford

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and forward thinking Consultant Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to the following post: 10PAs Hoddesdon Health Centre & 1PA CMHT Bishops Stortford  

This is an exciting time of further development for CAMHS in Hertfordshire which is undergoing service development and an increase in provision including a dedicated DBT team and a home treatment team.

There is a full job description available online which outlines the post holder responsibilities in this generic CAMHS clinic.

The post offers excellent opportunities to develop an area of special responsibility/interest, which can be negotiated depending on candidate’s experience and interest, as well as on service development and needs. The service has close links with Tier 3and 4 CAMHS services and professionals in Hertfordshire.

HPFT have close links with the University of Hertfordshire and there are opportunities for CPD. The CAMHS Crisis Assessment and Treatment Team (C-CATT) and Forest House Adolescent Unit provide a tier 4 support to the clinic and are both situated in the grounds of Kingsley Green.

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
