Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Trust (HPFT) are looking for band 6 Occupational Therapists for 2 brand new roles.

One post is within the Integrated Care Team but working as a Mental Health OT based in Bishops Stortford. The Integrated Care Teams are a clinically integrated model of service which prevents inappropriate admission to hospital/ or supports service users holistic needs in their home. Referrals are accepted from primary care, ambulance service, A&E and secondary care. The role of the Mental Health Occupational Therapist in this integrated setting will be to provide specialist assessment and treatment of occupational functioning, ensuring that mental health needs are recognised and addressed.

The other new post band 6 post is dedicated to supporting care home staff to offer non-pharmacological support, alongside the established HPFT community teams and in conjunction with other agencies. The service will be flexible to the needs of the local care homes across the county. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in a new part of the service which will evolve and develop as the service becomes established.

All our OTs are line managed and supervised by experienced Specialist/Head Occupational Therapists

You would receive support and be part of an OT network across all the services. If you are new to the area or considering career progression – we can support you.

You would work autonomously and be able to use your creative skills.

You will be part of a developing and expanding service, where we can support your development with flexibility.
