Values Based Screener
At Hertfordshire Partnership Foundation Trust we are looking for people to join us who share our values and those of the NHS. Before your application can be considered please take part on our online values questionnaire, which you can find below. When you have finished you will be sent a 'completion code' by email, which will be valid for 6 months and required to submit your application form.
Mental Health Services for Older People are looking to recruit experienced Mental Health Nurses to join our already established multi-disciplinary team. The Post is based in Watford, but the majority of work will be with people in their own homes across Watford, Three Rivers and Hertsmere.
The team provides the crisis function to our community team and is responsible for the support and treatment of older adults who are experiencing a mental health crisis - with people that have either a functional or organic condition. The team also has responsibility for assessment and gatekeeping people who may require admission to a mental health inpatient unit.
Mental Health Services for Older People are comprised of five functions that work in an interlinked way to provide care to people. We have a community team, a crisis function, a care home function, a therapy function and a memory service. As a professional you will have regular supervision and a PDP that aims to work with your strengths and to develop your skills. As a team we also hold reflective sessions.
We would welcome applications from people looking for both full time and part time hours, and will discuss with successful candidates their hours after the interview. The crisis function works across 7 days, providing a service between 0900 and 2100hrs on weekdays and between 1100 and 1900hrs on weekends. The postholder will therefore be required to work within the shift pattern.
Car driver (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010 which prevents you from driving)
