Cygnet House Adult Community Mental Health Service are a multidisciplinary team looking for a skilled and innovative social worker to join the team. The service is committed to personalised, recovery focused approaches for clients with mental health needs that encourages social inclusion.

At Cygnet House Community Mental Health Service you will be part of a supportive multi-disciplinary team working closely with the Clinical leads, Team leads and the Senior Social Worker within the service. You will be expected to carry complex case work and will need to have a good understanding of mental health issues, safeguarding, Mental health legislation, DoLS, Mental Capacity Act and Care Act. Applicants will also be expected to complete mental health legislation reports, attend Managers hearings and Tribunals and they will be expected to complete funding applications for clients if required.
As a Band 6 Social worker you will need to be HPC registered and have post registration qualifications. You will have an interest in developing your role and skills further in the future. We offer opportunities to develop as an Approved Mental Health Practitioner and/or Best Interests Assessor, and explore skill development in psychologically informed interventions.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
