An opportunity has arisen for 2 Staff Nurse post at Victoria Court. We are seeking to appoint enthusiastic and innovative persons to work within the unit. We are an outstanding Trust providing Continuing NHS Health Care to service users suffering from dementia. The team supports their carers and family to ensure a holistic multi-disciplinary approach to care planning is achieved. Previous experience of working with this client group is desirable. You will be required to demonstrate a sound knowledge base commensurate with experience. You must be enthusiastic and have a flexible approach to work. The demands of the unit mean that the individual has to be versatile and flexible in order to meet service users’ needs. An ability to communicate effectively with a range of professionals is paramount. The team embraces a recovery based philosophy which places the service user at the heart of the service, and promotes a way of care which is focused on the whole person in the context in which they live. You will be joining a friendly and supportive team where regular supervision and professional development is encouraged. The organisation has a supportive and robust preceptorship scheme aimed at supporting newly-qualified nurses.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
