We are looking to recruit either a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist grade 8a, 0.8 WTE (30 hours per week). This is a fixed term / secondment opportunity until 31.3.2022.  The post holder will work primarily from the team base in Stevenage, although will work as part of a quadrant wide team provide services across North Hertfordshire.  The post holder will be involved in the assessment and treatment of adults of working age, who present with a wide range of mental health problems and personality disorders, and will provide a blend of both individual and group work. The post holder will be encouraged to develop their skills in supervising and consulting to the wider team. The team regularly offer a training placement to a trainee from the University of Hertfordshire with whom we have close links.  Support and supervision will be provided by a more senior member of the psychological therapies team and you will join a group of clinicians who meet regularly to discuss therapeutic issues as well as service related developments.
