We are looking to recruit a highly skilled and motivated clinician to work in a multi-disciplinary CAMHS team based in Stevenage.

The post-holder will be a member of the Community CAMHS team working with children and young people presenting with complex mental health, emotional and behavioural problems and will provide a high standard of care to children, adolescents and their families/carers.  The team work within the context of CAPA and CYP-IAPT and work closely with a range of colleagues in social care, schools and other partners.

The post-holder will provide clinical/professional supervision to trainees on placement, more junior staff of the same discipline and multi-disciplinary colleagues for purposes of training and continuing professional development.

In return, the post holder will be supported to develop personally and professionally and there are opportunities for service development.

The Wider CAMHS service is currently developing a number of exciting new initiatives including a dedicated CAMHS Section 136 Suite, a new CAMHS Home Treatment Team and a CAMHS DBT Team so it is a great time to work in Hertfordshire CAMHS.  The successful candidate will be supported to develop and build on existing skills and knowledge and will have access to a range of training opportunities to fit with both the needs of the service and personal interests.
