Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (HPFT) is delighted to be recruiting Knowledge Understanding Framework (KUF) Co-ordinator. This exciting role will lead a small team of Peer Facilitators with a lived experience of difficulties that can be diagnosed as personality disorder to co-deliver a nationally recognised co-produced training package to staff within the Trust and to others who provide services in Hertfordshire. You will also have a lived experience of a diagnosis of personality disorder. By sharing the wisdom of your own lived recovery experience, you will inspire hope and belief that recovery is possible in others. Within a relationship of mutuality, they will facilitate and promote choice, self-determination.
This exciting role will improve understanding of individual needs and offer a person-centred approach. We are looking for someone who can lead and has a passion for enhancing skills and knowledge within the Trust and other agencies working in Hertfordshire. Being a new and innovative role, you will have the opportunity to develop and shape the service.
You will be based within our Recovery and Wellbeing college giving great opportunities to learn from each other to deliver high-quality training. The most crucial aspect is co-delivery on an equal footing with subject experts.
The role will involve working closely with a team of psychological therapists, other health professionals, and volunteers to deliver KUF. In addition, the post holder will work with volunteers and staff to plan and provide the training across all stakeholders working within the KUF National Improvement Programme.
We are looking for a passionate individual who wants to ensure that people with a lived experience have a voice to shape services and work collaboratively. You must have a background in education, peer support, and an understanding of the KUF programme would be highly desirable. Strong organisational skills are essential.
We would consider job share and flexible working arrangements.
