“If you are keen to have everyone in mental health ask “what happened to you?”, rather than “what’s wrong with you”?, then we have an amazing opportunity for you. Here at HPFT we have a long history of delivering outstanding care, and we now want to take our acute psychological assessment and therapies service to the next level. We are expanding our the service and are entering a period of skill development with the wider workforce, including developing our trauma informed approaches. We are looking for a caring and committed Consultant Clinical Psychologist to work alongside the senior leadership team, service users and Carers in leading and delivering change. If you have significant experience and skills as a clinical psychologist - are energetic, imaginative and, above all, care passionately about working with individuals and their families towards recovery, then we want to hear from you.
The role is based in our Kingfisher court hospital, but the post holder will work across Hertfordshire supporting therapists and the wider workforce in our adult mental health, PICU and mother and baby unit alongside our therapies and clinical colleagues. Close to London, Hertfordshire is a great place to work and we have strong links with the local University and recovery college. We believe in investing in our workforce and the role offers opportunities to grow and develop. We are keen to reflect the communities we serve, and welcome all applicants. The role is full time, but flexible hours or job share can be considered.
