Thumbswood, Kingsley Green
HPFT is one of a handful of mental health trusts in the country to receive a CQC rating of ‘Outstanding’. The Trust aims “to become the leading provider of Mental Health and Specialist Learning Disability services in the country”.
This is an exciting opportunity within Perinatal Psychiatry. Within Thumbswood Mother and Baby Unit. This is a newly refurbished, stand-alone 7 bedded (with 7 cots) facility on the Kingsley Green site near Radlett. All rooms are ensuite and large enough to accommodate a cot. There is a fully equipped kitchen, nursery, sensory room, clinical examination room, and large garden. There are areas for family to visit and recently a new conservatory area has been added. The whole Kingsley Green site is a non-smoking area. This is explained to mothers before admission and mothers are offered NRT or vapes.
