HPFT are pleased to announce the recruitment of a nursing team to manage the Section 136 Place of Safety Suites in the Trust. We are looking to recruit Band 3 Health Care Assistants (HCA) to manage the three suites on a 24 hour basis. This nursing team will complement the Acute Care Pathway which comprises of Acute Assessment and Treatment beds, Acute Day Treatment Units, Crisis Teams, Rapid Assessment, Intervention and Discharge (RAID) services, Host families and also Street Triage services.

The nursing team will be led and managed by a Modern Matron and a team leader within the Acute Services and supported out of hours by the Clinical Leads.

The post holders will be required to provide a comprehensive, competent professional and effective service and support to the safe provision of a designated Place of Safety for those detained by the police in Hertfordshire.
