This post is for Specialty Doctor in CAMHS Community Eating Disorders Team Psychiatry.  The post is based at Kingsley Green, Radlett – Hertfordshire. This will involve working as a Specialty Doctor and providing diagnostic assessments and treatment to service users with severe, complex and high risk conditions.   Although the post holder will have an administrative base, clinical work may be in another trust location or other community destinations such as at home, care homes, other hospitals. The post holder may be required to attend team meetings at a location determined by the manager.

The Specialty Doctor post is regarded as a core part of the Clinical Team, providing continuity of care and medical back up on site. The post holder will have responsibility for providing a comprehensive range of services in conjunction with the multidisciplinary team to all patients being managed in the Team. The post holder would be involved in the assessment of emergency work both in terms of new referrals and difficulties with the existing patient population. The post holder will be expected to provide additional medical leadership to the team and assist with the further development of the service
