Do you want to be part of an innovative, forward thinking, young people’s crisis service?

Are you are dedicated and passionate clinician who wants to be part of defining the future of crisis intervention for young people in Hertfordshire?

Following additional investment into the service we are now developing a 24/7 crisis support which includes, community and hospital based assessments, therapeutic intervention packages, telephone crisis line, parent/carer support, psycho-education and prevention.

We are looking for experienced clinicians, RMNs, RN's and Social Workers to join our expanding service. Our clinicians provide crisis telephone line support, triage and assessment as well as face to face assessments, follow ups and brief interventions in the community. Most referrals currently come from the two A&E's in Hertfordshire, although with our new crisis telephone line we are trying to prevent anyone attending A&E if they do not have a physical need to be there.  The C-CATT service operates 24/7 and the shifts are organised on a 6 week rolling rota. This role will involve day, evening, night and weekend working.

As well as a relevant professional qualification we are looking for people who are:
* Knowledge of Mental Health problems that affect young people
* An ability to work with Children and Young People in challenging situations.

A car driver is an essential element to the role (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010 which prevents you from driving)
