Due to exciting developments in Tier 4 CAMHS in hertfordshire we currently have 2 band 6 charge nurse posts, for our in patient services at Forest House Adolescent Unit.

The post holders will be required to lead by example, work alongside junior colleagues, support development and career progression, deputise and support the team leaders.

Forest House Adolescent Unit part of HPFT Tier 4 CAMHS, which is currently in the pilot stages of New Care Models with NHS england. the in patient unit is a 16 bedded mental health unit for 13-18 year olds who present with emotional, behavioural and psychological problems. The aim of an admission is to get the young person to the point where they can function in the community and continue their development into adulthood, with as little interruption as possible.

The in-patient team work very closely with the Home Treatment Team and a newly developed DBT team, all of which serve as parts of our tier 4 offer in hertfordshire.

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
