We currently have opportunities to join the Nursing Bank within Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (HPFT). In particular we are looking for temporary RN staff to work for our ECT Team
If you are interested in working within our acute mental health services, mental health services for older people or learning disability & forensic services in a temporary capacity we would like to hear from you.
The post holder will support and work in close collaboration with the ECT Lead Nurse in the management of the Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) suite and the co-ordination and delivery of the ECT service, ensuring it meets accepted quality and safety standards in accordance with national and local guidelines. This will include working with all disciplines involved with ECT across the Trust and with external organisations.
Band 5 Staff Advert
The ECT Kingfisher court is a Trust wide accredited service, which is based in Radlett. The establishment consists of dedicated Psychiatrists, ECT Nurses Lead, Band 5 Nurses and a team of dedicated Anaesthetists and ODP’s. The service is opened Monday to Friday between hours 8am to - 4pm. There are 2 sites for treatment - Kingfisher court and Watford General Hospital. ECT treatment days are on Tuesdays and Fridays at Kingfisher court, which is a remote site unit and Monday and Thursday at Watford General hospital. We are looking for band 5 Nurses to work during clinic hours 08.00 – 13.30. Interested nurses will be offered the ECT nurse foundation and recovery training. The ECT practice provides knowledge, skills and experience in ECT as a treatment and also physical health monitoring.
