Seward Lodge is a 16 bed assessment and treatment unit based in Hertford. We are part of Hertfordshire Partnership Foundation University Trust (HPFT) with a CQC rating of outstanding. This is a fantastic career opportunity for an enthusiastic, motivated and reliable receptionist to join our friendly team at Seward Lodge. This role is varied and will involve mainly administrative duties and telephone duties along with face to face contact with service users and relatives on reception.
HPFT places great emphasis on providing the highest standard of customer service to our services users, carers and visitors. The post holder must be able to demonstrate they possess excellent customer service skills incorporating the Trusts values when carrying out their duties.
The successful candidate must have a professional attitude, be hard working and have excellent communication skills and telephone manner. The ability and personality to build a rapport with our service users and relatives will be essential. You must have the initiative to work independently to ensure the smooth and efficient running of reception as well as the capability to work effectively in a busy team environment. The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
