We are seeking a Consultant Psychiatrist in Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team based at St Paul’s, Hemel Hempstead.

Who we’re looking for

We are looking for medical professionals who want to work in collaboration with our service users, carers and colleagues to provide the very best treatment and care. Professionals who want to develop and consolidate their clinical skills and competencies whilst working in a Trust with a patient-centred ethos and a strong commitment to the delivery of high quality education and training.

About your role

The post holder will be based at St Pauls in Hemel Hempstead and will be expected to do regular home visits across the catchment area.

The successful candidate would be supporting the multidisciplinary team in providing diagnostic assessments and treatment to patients with severe, complex, and high risk psychiatric conditions.

The consultant in CRHTT Team would be expected to provide professional expertise and medical leadership and to contribute to the clinical effectiveness of a well-established team.

They will undertake detailed assessments of clinical risks and liaising closely with community and acute care pathway colleagues as well as GPs and carers, while being actively involved in the strategic development and direction of the service and broader services.

You must ensure the relevant professional registration is maintained, including Section 12, Approved Clinician, and Responsible Clinician status.
