Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust is looking for enthusiastic and motivated qualified High Intensity CBT Therapists and/or trainee therapists close to completion of their qualification to join our North East Essex primary care psychological therapy IAPT service, Health in Mind. Health in Mind provides a service to the Colchester and Tendring areas from bases in Colchester and Clacton, and a range of community facilities including GP surgeries.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our innovative services, fundamentally changing the way in which psychological treatments are provided. We are seeking highly motivated, dynamic, flexible and creative staff to contribute to our success. You will be part of a multi-professional workforce that will significantly increase access to treatment for people with depression, anxiety and other common mental health conditions, within a Primary Care setting. The IAPT services provide psychological therapy within the standards of the stepped care model i.e. Step 2 (Low intensity) and Step 3 (High Intensity). We have pioneered integrated working with our local physical health partners, and also have a well developed perinatal service, specialising in birth trauma. We actively encourage our therapists to develop specialisms to help with our service delivery.

Our services are focused on delivering high quality therapy, being amongst the highest performers in the region. All three Essex IAPT services finished the year (2017-2018) with recovery rates exceeding the national target of 50%, which is quite an achievement. In support of this, we pride ourselves on an extensive programme of CPD for our clinicians.
