NHS Locum Specialty Doctor in General Adult Psychiatry Civic Offices, Borehamwood 6 month fixed term

HPFT is at the forefront of providing integrated health and social care. HPFT is one of a handful of mental health trusts in the country to receive a CQC rating of ‘Good’. The Trust aims “to become the leading provider of Mental Health and Specialist Learning Disability services in the country”.

HPFT would like to recruit an enthusiastic and committed Locum Specialty Doctor in General Adult Community psychiatry team the South West Hertfordshire quadrant. The post will be based in Borehamwood and the post holder will work with two Consultant Psychiatrists.

The Community Mental Health Service provides assessment and treatment of working age adults with mental disorders that require management in secondary care in the community. The successful candidate will work closely with the members of the multidisciplinary team and undertake appropriate and evidence based psychiatric interventions under consultant supervision. The post is part of a fully integrated multi-disciplinary team and has administrative support. Full details are available in the Job Description.

Applicants must possess full GMC registration with license to practice and have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Psychiatry. Section 12(2) approval is essential. National Terms and Conditions of Service apply.
